Museum to Mesclun
Wednesday was busy. Chem Dry came to the condo and cleaned the rugs in the bedrooms and left in time for me to go to the Portland Art Museum for a talk about the soon to leave M.C. Escher show .I then stopped by the Wednesday Farmer’s Market between Salmon and Main streets.

I got there early, so had time to see some of the Tattoo exhibit. I saw some fascinating slide show pictures of bodies and body parts with impressive artwork.

We then saw the Echser show and learned a bit about him and his work during MIdday Art Break" from Curator of Prints and Drawings Annette Dixon.

I took this picture and then learned I wasn't supposed to take pictures. This is to show that he did many types of drawings and they weren't all birds flying or people going up and down. Those are the posters so many people had in college.

After I took time to look at all the pictures, I headed out to the nearby Farmer's Market. I had a cool bag in my purse that Scott and Shana gave me for Mother's Day. It opens up and holds a great deal of produce.

I also bought a bouquet of flowers. Hey. I had fun! I took this picture with my iPhone while riding the street car.

It was great reading about your time at the Portland Art Museum. And I loved the photos. Sometimes I go over to Flickr and look at the photos people have taken in the museum and then uploaded. Everyone seems to be having such a great time in all of them.
