Saturday and Sunday in Prescott

I arrived Friday at about 11:00 pm. to be on hand to babysit my grand-kids while Scott and Shana house hunted in DC. They flew out Sunday afternoon. First few days at Scott and Shana were busy ones. First off, they thought Madison might have strep throat so we took her to the doctor’s office so Lee Ann and I wouldn’t have to wonder what was going on. Turned out she had an ear infection, so she got some medicine. But that night, she developed conjunctivitis. I called friend Dr. John Berzins, an ophthalmologist, who called in a prescription from the Oregon coast to Prescott. Thank God for him. He later admitted to Robert how difficult it is to give little kids eye drops. Boy, did we discover that.

Fish in the doctor's lobby. We were there to see how Madison was doing with her slight temperature. Did she have strep throat like her friends? No, ear infection.

Seems smart to have the stickers on the wall as a do-it-yourself system.
Then we headed to a birthday party of one of Madison's classmates.

Madison likes to put her head bands around her face and wear her Super Madison cape for her "Super Hero" look.

Notice how nice her eyes look in the above picture.

Oops. Not feeling or looking so good. Time for a call to Dr. Berzin.

The kids played outside in the afternoon riding bikes on the driveway. Notice the gorgous blue sky.

Lee Ann arrived the next day. She flew into Phoenix and took a shuttle to Prescott. It takes WAY less time to do it that way. I learned this the hard way previously.
