Beaterville Cafe for Breakfast a Hit

My breakfast group was hardly a group this month, with just three of us, but we thoroughly enjoyed Beaterville Cafe located at 2201 N Killingsworth Street. The owner was a sweetheart and the staff relaxed and friendly. A “beater”, by the way, is an old, beat-up car, so the inside and outside are decorated accordingly.

It is easy to find.

There are car parts sticking out of the building and along the side and back patio.

Inside are lots of hubcaps. The owner told us he doesn't need any more donations!

They have an extensive menu, but what do these other two women do? They order what I ordered!

No chance of show pictures of other items on the menu. Instead of getting the Huevos, they could have ordered the Fiat and the Spudabaker or some other fun sounding item.

The women's restroom is kitschy and fun to look at just ike the cafe. See the red toaster?

The owner took us on a tour of the side and back of his place. This summer a bar next door will be open.

The owner has worked on this place for a long time. The soon to open bar will be a big hit.
