How Is Julie

Gleneden’s Fourth of July Parade seemed a little heavy with vehicles, but it was still fun. We had great seats and we were near the the food and drink vendors. After setting up our seats, we headed to the Side Door Cafe for a more formal meal to start the festivities.

No one can pick a crab as well as Robert. First, he goes to the dock at Depoe Bay and selects one for each of us and then comes home where I have the pot boiling away. He picks ‘em and I get the goodies ready for the crab salads. It works for me!!

Robert’s brother Jim’s daughter, Amy, came to the beach to see her cousin Scott and his family. The weather wasn’t so great (as we all know) but we had a nice time. Later, we headed for Pacific City and then Pelican Pub and Brewery for a late lunch.
