Things Are Slowing Down

Tuesday, I had foot surgery on the bottom of my right foot for a Morton’s Neuroma that I have had for along time. I ignored it for as long as I could and then finally saw a doctor who tried two different kinds of shots. First kind of were of Cortisone and the second type were super strong shots that hurt like the devil. The final shots had a 60% chance or so of killing the neuroma, but I couldn’t walk afterward. I made the error then of thinking that surgery would be the way to go…..  I do NOT know how to walk with crutches so am frustrated. I have to stay OFF MY FOOT for THREE WEEKS. I wasn’t meant to stay put. That’s all I’ve got to say.

Actually, a Nurse Practitioner and then Dr. Granville (seen here) gave me Cortozone shots. Worked for a while, but didn't cure the problem.

How attractive. I didn't take my nail polish off even though it was on my TO DO LIST.

Smile.

I wasn't allowed to have on make-up, jewelry or my body piercings.

My mohter sent me a flower arrangement the next day. It does cheer me up.
